The store has quality items, but that’s not due to their own work, it just happens to get good donations. I love savers, but not having a fitting room is especially annoying when you can’t try on clothes and you only have 2 weeks to return the items. I brought in some clothes that I had expected to fit but weren’t giving what I wanted them to give AND I came to return a BROKEN camera that I bought from this savers, because I’d expected it to work. NOPE.
I came to return my items 3 weeks after the last time I came here and they were very strict on their return policy, even though I’ve definitely returned items at other savers past the 2 weeks. For it to be one week past the return date and for the cashier to just say “nope can’t do it” is ridiculous. The customer service here is terrible. They’re only at the registers and both times I’ve gone the workers have been very apathetic (the last time, I also tried to do a return, thinking I had the receipt, but I unfortunately didn’t). This store could use improvement on customer service. Also: the bathroom floor looks like it hasn’t been washed in ages and it smelt like pee. Fantastic.
You can come here for clothes, but don’t expect a pleasant atmosphere or workers.
Saugus savers is very neat and clean. There were not a lot of household items on the shelves. Saugus Savers had very adorable 12 month boy clothes!! The staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful.
Best store on the North shore Danvers has the best quality of items the prices are within reasonable range the people are very friendly the manager is very fair positive and polite there is a self-checkout but there is always somebody there to help you if something is not price they will work with you on a decent price if something is stained they will work with you on a decent price savers started very small and was kind of like a walk-in salvation army 10 years later it is expanded and has almost everything you could possibly think of from household items to outdoor items toys furniture clothing shoes pretty much anything household
There were things everywhere on the floor and randomly thrown about. Can't blame the store employees, kids were just throwing things around :(. Overall a great selection and everyone working there is very friendly
Well savers got two stars today because there was hardly anybody in there. Most likely because there’s lots of fireworks going on tonight. Are used to love shopping at savers that is until they jacked up their prices. FYI people you can get things so much cheaper at an antique mall or thrift store, that is more like a mom and pop store . And so many of the good decent items that are for sale are so close to retail price that you might as well go buy a brand new one. Anyone else feel this way? It’s just my opinion. Employees are super nice all the time. I know I’ll keep going back and checking it from time to time, but it does stink that they increase their prices by so much they took the save out of savers
Prices are insanely over inflated. Not exactly a bargain hunters dream.
Nice if you like to sift through dirt and clutter though!
